Travel Makes You More Adaptable

Here are two priceless excerpts I recently read on www.negharfonooni.com that I totally relate to… Makes a ton of sense!

“Adaptability is quite possibly one of the most impactful skills I’ve obtained, not just as it relates to my travels, but as it pertains to my life at home as well. My travels have improved my quality of life to an exponential degree, all by forcing me to stretch out of my comfort zone.”

I’m totally a creature of habit and very much so like my routine… Even the smallest glitch in my schedule used to send me over the edge. Travel has completely changed that for me in the best possible way.

“I’ve learned a few things from my travels, including the fact that I never realized how much of the world I wanted to see, until I started seeing it.”

I see this a lot… People convince themselves that they’re ok with not traveling that much because they’re trapped in the monotony of life and that annoying thing called a J.O.B. I hear people say quite frequently “Oh I love my job” which I quickly follow-up with “If you love it so much, why don’t you do it for free then?” and of course the resounding answer is always “HELL NO!”. Like I said, we condition ourselves to “love” our work so we can psychologically trick ourselves into liking something that otherwise feels like a desolate, dead-end situation. Mostly, I feel bad because usually there’s a lot of regret later in life for folks like who wish they would’ve lived life differently.

So Here’s My BIG OBVIOUS TIP OF THE DAY: DO WHAT YOU LOVE, DON’T BE SO WORRIED, AND TAKE THAT DAMN VACATION!!!
